About Bradford Marketing Hub. This is a resource for small local businesses.
Bradford Marketing Hub translates marketing speak into plain English for Bradford’s small business community.
The idea behind Bradford Marketing Hub
Many Bradford businesses only have a basic internet presence, if any at all. I want to change that. But I realize many small business owners don’t have time for complicated solutions, they want to keep it simple. Luckily, simple solutions may be all they need.

Bradford Marketing Hub recommends…
I recommend you keep it simple and focus on a few marketing tactics. But execute those tactics to the best of your ability.
I recommend that businesses dealing face-to face with customers…
- get a Google My Business listing
- encourage customers to leave online reviews
- monitor and reply to those online reviews, both good and bad
- keep in touch with your customers via at least one social media platform
Don’t overdo it
Don’t be active on every social media platform, that can soon become exhausting. Choose the one social media platform that best fits your business and your customers. Concentrate your efforts on that single account. If you enjoy social media, you may be active on more than one platform. Twitter and Facebook, for instance. But remember, you’re doing a job, so be active on the platforms where your customers are active.
